General
- All participants are required to pick up their timing chip on race day.
- The course may be closed at the discretion of the Race Director (weather, time of day, etc) and any remaining runners will be advised that race support will no longer be provided after that time should they wish to continue.
- The race may be cancelled in the case of severe weather.
- The following items are not permitted while competing in the Muddy Monster: pets, bicycles, and costume accessories (ex. swords).
- Absolutely no littering on the ground.
Bib Number Requirements
- All registered participants will receive a bib number that must be worn on race day
- Please do not alter the bib in any way.
- The bib must be visible and worn on the front outside of all clothing during the entire race.
- Bib numbers are non-transferable and must be worn by the registrant to whom it has been assigned.
- Anyone running without a Bib (“bandit”) may be removed from the course.
Chip Requirements
- The AMB chip must be secured to the participant’s ankle. If the runner carries the chip in his/her hand, fanny pack, etc. the AMB chip will not be able to record a time.
- Chips are non-transferable and must be worn only by the participant to whom it is assigned.
- Chip numbers should correspond with Bib numbers.
- Do not cross the finish line more than once.
- Do not lose the AMB chip; a $75 replacement fee will be charged to any participant who fails to return the chip at the finish line.
These regulations are for your safety and the safety of the other participants in the race. Muddy Monster reserves the right to disqualify and remove anyone from the course who is not in compliance with these regulations. If you have any questions, please contact the Race Directors.
