Monster Mile & Lil’ Monster Dash

The Monster Mile is new for 2008!  This is a great opportunity for young athletes 17 & under to compete in a professional setting that are not quite ready for a 5K distance. Participants will be treated to the same amenities as the 5K including chip timing, long sleeve t-shirt, post-race refreshments, and can also join the Lil’ Monsters in post-race activities.  The Monster Mile will begin at 10:15 AM!

The Lil’ Monster Dash is an opportunity for younger runners to partake in the festivities by running approximately 1/4 mile.  The Lil’ Monster Dash will also start at 10:15 AM. A Halloween treat will await them as they cross the finish line. The Lil’ Monsters are then invited to cheer on their family & friends, show off their costumes to the judges, and participate in activities including:

  • Pumpkin Decorating (mess free stickers) - pumpkins provided by Bloomsbury Farm
  • Coloring Contest - sponsored by Pump It Up
  • Stay tuned as additional activities are scheduled!
